We have a cmos camera (Terasic TRDB-D5M) and FPGA development kit (DE2-115). In fact, we have a demo project. But in this project, the image is transferred to the monitor via the VGA port. Also, the image resolution is 640x480 or 800x600 and frame rate is about 30 fps in this demo project. Camera supports 5 MP and up to 70 fps. The expected from the project are as follows: -- we want to use the existing features of the camera (5 MP or 70 fps). -- we want to send the images to a computer over ethernet port. we are using the proposed techniques to reduce leakage power such as MTCMOS ( Multi threshold CMOS technique), Power Gating, Dual Stack, GALEOR and LECTOR. RCA and CLA circuita designed by using the above mentioned techniques, power dissipation is calculated for each technique and is compared with general CMOS logic of RCA and CLA.
