Please help, I disable all the sharing I could find. There are other users on my Linux mint. The firewall is not working blocking the ports. Samba is not installed; I disabled all the sharing, but when I do a netstat, there is a bunch of connections using https. Under Networks. a file that says Windows Networks is there. I need someone to remove the file and secure my system

It originated from Linux but we wish to use this library together with FreeBSD. We have modified the code so that mouse, keyboard and multi-threading works under the BSD platform. But we wish to get help to successfully integrate the X11 part of the code to support FreeBSD. The code base has several other flaws but the short therm goal is to make the GUI library functional on BSD.

Installation is already done on Debian 11 with OMV6 package, so latest samba is installed => initial setup is already done We need hands-on expertise on SAMBA in corporate/enterpirse environment (ideally with OMV6) on Debian 11 + especially interaction with windows via internet shares you know how to configure these? - permissions + ACLs for groups and users and folders? - SMB3 for mac, windows and linux clients?
