We've been working with an amazing engineer on Freelancer for more than a year, but he's moving on to more important things, so we need a new engineer to help us with our development projects. Deep understanding and knowledge / experience developing software for Arduino's and ATmega STM microcontrollers. We will develop the electronics, but need an engineer to develop the software, but will share the electronic designs for the projects also. Needs to be well structured software that can be further developed and / or modified without having to re-develop the entire platform. Must include settings tab so we can reassign pins, set thresholds etc... This relationship will be for many projects (some large and very complex if you're interested), over a long period, so good communication and detailed understanding of the requirements is essential. First project is relatively simple, with a basic description below, but with a detailed description attached. Pressure transducer & solenoid controller. The system has 2 pairs of solenoids (pair 1 = solenoid 1+3) (pair 2 = 2+4) and 2 pressure transducers. The solenoids turn on alternately, first 1+3, then 2+4. The switching action is controlled by transducer 1 which spikes in pressure when the system is ready to alternate to the other set of solenoids. So... Turn on solenoids 1+3 > monitor transducer 1 pressure > when pressure spike > disable solenoids 1+3 > enable solenoids 2+4. this is a reciprocating action, so each time there's a spike, the solenoids alternate. There are other elements to this that are in the description attached. These include another presure transducer and a small I2C LCD display. For the settings tab, we will need to be abe to assign pins for I/O, we will also need serial monitor, and be able to set limits and trigger points for pressure settings. I wont be accepting any automated respones. Only engineers who read my description carefully and discuss in detail will be working with me on many projects. I've spent over $100k on freelancer, so wont be working with anyone that requires part payment for projects in advance. My track record on freelancer is my bond, and your skill is yours. I've hired way too many freelancers that required part payment in advance, that then had the technical abilty of a 5 year old, including all the excuses that go with it. I have additional (more challenging) projects ready and waiting depending on the success of this very basic project. Good luck, I'm looking forward to working with you.
