Contributors for web / database

The task is to perform daily updates on our database and web CMS. This will be on an ongoing basis, and we will be considering using a number of different contributors, or teams that can guarantee reliable service, seven days a week. There is an estimated 4 hours work per day initially. We are based in London, and some updates may need to be applied overnight (GMT) ??" this means contributors based in other time zones may have an advantage. We are only interested in contributors who are willing and able to commit to further work after the initial trial period. The contributor will be responsible for reading a number of information sources, on the web, via email and via our custom RSS reader application. These sources will need to be summarised and other relevant details attached and entered into our CMS. Occasionally small details of additional information may need to be researched via Google. We do not require native English speakers, but an excellent standard of English, and a meticulous eye for detail are essential. Initially, we will be running the tasks on a trial basis for a two-week period (or for a number of specified days in a two week period, depending on the applicant’s availability). This will enable us to ascertain the overall workload and decide the most effective method for dividing up the work. We are inviting people to apply for this trial on a per-hour basis. Once this is completed, we will then discuss how to proceed ??" how many contributors, whether to work on an hourly or per-item basis, and the best overall method of working going forward. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). ## Platform Web-based
