Pronunciation of German names

I am from the USA and grew up listening to almost all my relatives speak German with each other, but did not learn it fluently until later. Most people don't usually hear right away that I am not a native German speaker. The ones that hear it the quickest are those that have lived abroad in an English-speaking country and most people compliment me on my pronunciation. I'm sorry. I know you said not to bid if you're not a native speaker of both, but I am a linguist and I am fascinated by this project! Especially since the English pronunciation of German names is a topic have done a paper on. I wish I knew someone I could put you in touch with.
