WxWindows Consultant

We're looking for a *VERY* experienced X Server programmer, highly skilled in wxWindows and SDL programming, to provide us with consulting services. We're trying to integrate the two libraries in the same binary, on different threads; this is supposedly done using the XLock and XUnlock functions provided by the X server. So, basically, one thread should be drawing using SDL, the other one using wxWidgets, on the same canvas. We might need some coding done on a different bid; however this bid doesn't require some fully functional program; only some assistance in resolving this issue. I repeat: we're looking for a very experienced consultant; this is not for the average C++ programmer. Please post your hourly rate, as well as previous experience, previous projects you've been working on, etc. I realise that the description for this bid is not quite complete, but we'll sort out the different issues later on. ## Deliverables Apart from the standard requirements below: 1) Consulting work over the phone, IM or VoIP. 2) Some coding work, in order to illustrate the concepts involved might be necessary. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Linux, X server, WxWidgets, SDL.
