We have written a GUI in c++ using SDL that runs on both Windows and Linux. It is pretty boring with simple blit's to go from screen to screen. We want a programmer to write functions we can call to get: 1) ultra-smooth scrolling/panning across large graphics, 2) smooth fades and zooms, 3) alpha blending, 4) slick 'bouncy effect'. So, for example, when it is time to display a popup, our app will still create the popup, but instead of rendering it to the screen, will render it to an in-memory bitmap, and call your function with all the parameters to make it bounce on the screen. Your function won't be expected to interact with the user, only to display the transition. When it's time to close the box, we will pass your function a pointer to the screen background and the popup, and parameters to make the popup shrink and fade. Also, when we have a large graphic, rather than paging like we do now, we will pass your function both the first page and second page and it must make them slide synchronized from the 1st to the 2nd page. This must support hardware acceleration so it happens very smoothly, we assume it will be in OpenGL. We will give you our C++ app, and expect you to write the functions to do the transitions so we can call it from within our app.
## Deliverables

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
