I am certified as a translator and interpreter for English and German by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce. I have 20 years of work experience as a legal secretary for international law firms, including the performance of numerous translations related to law, business and commerce, both from German to English and vice versa. My job also involved proofreading various English and German texts, including dissertations and books. Besides, I have been freelancing for various translation agencies and private persons or firms, performing translations, transcriptions and proofreading from a wide range of subjects since 2004. I lived in the US for a total of three years as a child and young adult and spent six months on a social project in the UK. My command of spoken and written English is very good.
