Now so far i have used pytesseract to do that and i was able to convert jp2 into text file with pytesseract but the issue is pytesseract not scanning jp2 file column by column. I want someone to help me reading jp2 file column by column. for this you can have your own approach or one of the approch in my mind is to split jp2 file by horizontal and vertical lines and then read each splitted file one by one.

I need an SDK for Licence plate recognition in Android. OCR function. The reading of the plates must be super fast, as in the video shared here. The reader must be customizable for various countries. Focus first is Switzerland plates. (Easy as we have always two Characters followed by 1..9 digits. (in the future we will see 10 digits as well with a smaller font) eg. ZH 12345 The characters can only come from a closed list of 27 valid combinations. e.g. ZH is valid ZG is valid. but no other thing with ZX So ZA, ZB, ZC , ZD etc are all invalid and do not exist.
