I am trying to perform a load schedule of appliances as to reduce utility bill costs, as the time of use tariff fluctuates and there is a penalty cost for exceeding the power usage limit of the day. The project requires that a model be built that would allow appliances be scheduled using Matlab or similar accessible software, either by a MILP and MIQP. The simulation should then be able to show the difference in power usage and costs to be saved.
